What is blu

blu is a native macOS app. Every project is a colored blob floating above your apps. You talk to the blobs by voice or text — by name, alias, color or place on the screen — and a coding agent (Claude or Codex) does the work in that project’s folder. blu parses what you said, routes it to the right project and conversation, runs the agent, and reports back by voice.

"Blue, fix the menu" → a task for the blue project
"The top one, what's up?" → the status of the topmost blob
"Lantern, show the result" → the blob scatters around a preview

blu is general-purpose: nothing in it assumes a particular project, stack or service. Today it is tuned for software development and git.

Talk, don't click

Commands are understood by a language model, so any wording works, in any language.

Real agents

Claude Code and Codex over the Agent Client Protocol (ACP), with your own logins.

Parallel work

A git worktree per conversation: several tasks at once, your working copy untouched.

You stay in control

Agents ask before acting; you decide what is allowed for good.
